Hey guys, new guy here on the boards. Finally got around to getting a blaster. Got a 2002 used for $500. Motor runs good, still has oil injection, stock exhaust. Needs front wheel bearings and probably A-Arm Bushings. I been reading on the forums for a while just figured id open an account in case i have to ask questions. Long story short i grew up riding blasters but when i turned 17 my dad made me sell it to buy a car. =( . Im 32 now and back in the blaster brotherhood and it feels good. Lol im a tall guy too so i look kind of ridiculous on one but I don't even care, feel like a kid again. Have a good night guys.

Do a compression test and leak down test. Get a shorty rear brake cable.
Seriously consider replacing both crank seals as preventative maintenance. They’re 17yrs old, nothing lasts forever
