When I was a kid, my Grandpa told me the best way to catch a bear is to dig a big hole, start a fire in it, wait till the fire goes out then open a can of peas and line them up around the edge of the hole. You hide behind a nearby tree and wait for the bear. When he come to take a pea...you kick him in the ash hole.
