This is actually my 6th Blaster, one was a 240 and the others were modded up pretty good, I've had 450's,700's and quite a few others and just keep coming back to the trusty ole Blaster! I Just landed a 2000 Blasty with a ton of modds for a thousand bucks even! It has a brand new cyclinder and head, punched out to the max, which I think the guy said .80 thousanths? It has had some pretty impressive Port work as well, Wiseco Piston, V-Force 3 Reeds, Full Hinson clutch kit. My old 240 didn't pull as hard as this one does. It also has a full skid plate with swing arm plate, upper and lower rear bars, nerfs, and front bumper with a full FMF exhaust with a Dyno Jet jet kit with Vito's block off kit and Douglas wheels. Bike runs amazing!! Heres a couple of pics.

Nice man....

.80 over is a lot there isnt much life left in that cylinder so next time it blows your gonna either need to resleeve it or get a new jug..or you might get lucky and get away with a hone

Looks great. As stated the cylinder will need replacing or sleeving soon enough.Good score.

Thanks all, the jetting is spot on and the fresh motor only has around 6 hours total on it. The guy built it as a project for his girl friend, he said she only rode it once before they broke up and his buddy rode it twice since the build and thats it. So, hopefully i'll have a little while on it.I:I

something up, or they ride VERY VERY HARD if that this is 80 over and its only a 2000, mines a 88 and has only been bored 20 over. but either way very nice grab.

thats a good point, but you really don't gain much just by boreing it out, at least not enough to justify wasting jug life. but as usual I could be wrong.

no you are right about the jug life but lots of people think that by boring it out they are gaining power jsut how tons of guys bored .40 over say they have a 240 kit.... at any rate thats a nice clean blasty man if you ever need anything just ask, this place is crawling with blasty gods lol I:I

Thanks everyone! Preciate the welcome, I took it out this past Saturday and fine tuned the carb and rode all day without any issues, I have it jetted with the airbox lid on, Dyno Jet stage one, with only the snorkle removed, runs out sweet and 3rd through 6th is just flat out awesome!! This thing pulls really hard. About the overbore, I personally would have never gone that much on it, but the og owner did, oh well, if it pops, it'll be all the excuse I need to make it a ported 240 with a 3 mil stroker!I:I I have it nice and crisp at 32:1 pre-mix. Seems all my Blasty's ran awesome at this ratio and never gave a seconds trouble, of course I change the trans fluid and clean and re-oil the air filter after each days ride, thats the secret to longevity with a 2-T. Overall I am very happy with it, for the money you can't beat it!
