I got my new piston but it has 1.00 stamped

I ordered a piston should be 40 over but the top of it has 1.00 stamped in it. so is it the wrong size?

Its a vetos.

Any help?

Conversion factors my man! There are 25.4mm in one inch so each .001" equals .0254mm. 40 x .0254 =. 1.016mm

SOOOOOOO! .040" = 1.0mm
