i think i might just stick with my plan of buying big bore kit bigger carb and LRD exuast

ya its your bike, your plan. but who will install this big bore kit when it gets to you? here's my suggestion. contact a builder. discuss your riding style. discuss what you desire from your machine. discuss your budget. send off either just your jug to get ported, or your whole motor if you want a stroker crank. then the builder can order what ever parts to his shop and do the build and send it back. throw her in and let her rip. the cool thing is that your builder will probably be more than happy to help you with questions regarding jetting, carb adjustments, tuning and such. thats a easier than buying a bbk and other random parts that might not coordinate as good as a well-thought out motor. remember that little displacement increase with stock stroke wont perform like a stroked and aggressive ported motor. just my opinion. good luck.
