450 killer

Just raced my ported lt250r against my buddys 04 yfz450 with mods... i beat him over and over from a dig and beat him 5 out of 6 on a roll.. i missed 2nd my shoe.lace got caught on the shifter and pulled it back down when i clicked 2nd

The torque of it is nice but it dont ride any nicer than my 25 year old quad..

His has low hours on a .030 over motor, t4 exhaust big k&n filter and i think he said a rev box n cams

I still cant get over how it rode... it shimmys and shakes like my 87 and his is in nice shape.. my.nephews.ds450 rode nicer.... granded the ds and my lt both have suspension work but still

yeah that pretty cool to know that the 20 year old technology is still up to date with todays stuff. guess that why the trx250r was atv of the century.

Hell the lt and yfz are the same width lenght and hight, mine sits lower though, foot pegs are back further on the 450

i just went out riding with a guy on a predator. didnt have a problem keeping up on the road. but once we got into the trails, he couldnt follow me...i was loong gone. it also sat about 3-4" higher.
