Me, personally find it more exciting riding a modded ride, the thrill factor is always higher!
I built several turbo engines before (cars), and its MUCH more fun riding a turboed 1.6 opel corsa than a m3 or even m5 bmw.
Done the vtec turbo too...
Latest project was a 2jzgte (supra) custom job, in a pickup. Ran 400kw and it was a moster.
In the end, I would like both, the blaster, and the yfz... but im very biased towards the blaster, for the FUN powerband.
Note: I have never riden a stock blaster yet, just modded ones, so its difficult to compare how slow the stock ones really are. But one thing is certain, my one is definitely not slow! And I would never let a kid, or unexperienced rider ride it.
I fitted some 20" rears to see if it would help with some extra tracion in the soft sand, but thought it would affect the acceleration/pull, but to my surprise, it still is popping wheelies when accelerating (1/4 throttle) from idle, on tar. And that is with a 4" extender swinger...
I initially prefered the 18"ers, but had issues in the soft sand, and getting the chain covered in sand.
If possible, ride both, and judge for yourself. (Try and ride a modded blaster though, to compare)
