hydraulic brakes

i used warrior rear brake setup but banshee and 03-06 blaster all work, i welded a tab to my frame and used the exsiting heel guard mout to mount my master cylinder i used a p-clamp around the frame tube to mount the resivor and i made a cutom pedal out of the warrior pedal and the blaster pedal and i did a banshee axle swap and just used the banshee carrier and brake hub so i was able to mount the caliper

I bought the ecs hydro brake conversion, I love it and it works great. I dont like the other kits that are made from shifter cart parts, the master cylinder sits real low on the frame. The ecs kit uses the warrior brake caliper.

thanks, but did that cost you a lot?

i bought the complete rear brake setup of a
warrior for 30$ so it cost $30 for parts $8 for fluid and about 2hrs fab and the rear axle carrier came with the carrier i just had to make it work on the blaster swinger the complete rear axle cost 75$ but is not nessesary to do the brake conversion just have to make bracket to mount caliper

Nice been wanting to do this to mine also. is there a web site for the ecs hydro brake conversion kit ive seen the cart conversion and i dont like the looks of them and i dont think the brake shoes would hold up for very long either (to soft). Also nice pic of the honda 400ex shock conversion and what did you use to shime up at the top bolt ?....

thanks to mount the top of the shock i had a custom bushing made cause the on in the 400 shock is to hard to drill so i had it made to fit the blaster bolt and to still use the bearing in the eye from honda

does the angle of the master cyl matter much? mine is welded right up that bar instead of on tabs and mine dont work worth sh*t wondering if maybe its the angle of the master cyl. mine just wont lock up and the pedal will only move about half inch. they do get me stopped tho
