hows the condition of this shock?

try it. it's cheap enough and easy to rebuild if the situation arises.

actual condition of the shock is more or less irrelevant.... rebuild parts are READILY available and doing it's easy....

Obviously if you get the chance to buy a shock in like new condition, jump on it. But even a blown 400ex rear shock isn't a terrible buy (for $22 anyway LOL!).

Use THAT VVVVVVVVVVVVVV write-up by Phragle. Easy peasy rice and cheesy.

Have you already got the bushing kit and 12mm drill bit?

Ken O'connor sells the bushing kit which is the easiest way to put that thing on the blaster (unless you happen to have a lathe at the house, that is!).

The lower clevis on that shock has to be drilled to a 12mm hole (slightly larger than what it currently is) and then the blaster pin can fit through it.
