I just purchased a 1989 blaster 200, and after doing a little research I've found out that they came with an oil injection system, and that it was common for people to remove them and run mixed gas like a regular 2 stroke. I was wondering what to look for/how to tell if this has been done on my bike or not?

Is there a white tank under the back left fender?
Is there a little tube going from the carb to right side of the case?
If both of those are "yes" then you have oil injection.
OR
If theres no tank, and a hose from the carb, take off the hose, buy a 1/8" vacuum plug and put it on the nipple on the right side of carby.
Then drain the gas and mix properly 32:1 with oil made for mixing. You will need to rejet for the change in gas oil mixture

are you mixing the fuel and oil now ?
or adding oil to the tank under the seat ?
if neither, expect it to be a short ride
As Awk commented, slow down.
If you are not sure if it has oil injection check to see if it has been removed.
Do not put mixed gas in the tank if the injection is still operative, problems are bound to arise.
Check or the signs of removal.
I just bought it last night, I have it stored and drive it about 30 minutes away from my home so I can't just run out and check it. I meant the next time I make the drive to take it for a spin I will check it, before the ride of course. The previous owner kept the tank full, rode it plenty and never had it blow up on him, I am just not sure whether he mixed the gas or still had the oil injection.
Theres a tank under the seat if its still there you might have it. Check the pump theres a cover on the the side of the engine.
A little word of advice, it would be a great idea to leak test it before riding, you do not want a nasty surprise.

Alright so the oil injection has definitely been removed, the tank is gone, the hoses are disconnected, and there was mixed gas in the tank. I spoke to the previous owner and he said he had it removed, drained the tank, and started using mixed gas.
I am not new to ATVs, however I am new to 2 strokes and I am not quite familiar with this bike. There seem to be 4 hoses that are not connected to anything, I grabbed a couple photos and was wondering if all of these are for the oil injection, or if there are some other issues. There is one on the side of the carb, one on the bottom, and another which I think is coming from the oil pump.

The nipple on the carb should be capped off.

1 & 2: carb vents, belong open to free air as they are
3: carb bowl drain, belongs as it is, only open when the drain screw is turned counter clockwise to drain bowl
4: is the transmission vent, it belongs run across and up the frame to under the hood, so it cannot suck in water.
as it is risks getting water/dirt into the trans/clutch

the inlet nipple for the oil injection is located on the kicker side, high and towards the back of carb.
it is brass, unless part of the small black hose is still connected.
it can be blocked off with an 1/8" vacuum cap, or some rtv and a screw into the remaining hose, as close to the carb as possible

found a good pic of what needs blocked off on the carb, thats an 1/8" vacuum cap over the brass nipple..........
notice the original trans vent line running up thru the pic, it goes across above the carb, then up that side frame rail past the fuel shutoff to up under the hood
