How to take springs of shocks?

how can i take the springs off my shocks as i would like to spary them candy blue thanks !

ok anal andy, actually there's a c-clip at the top that come off, but i think u do need a spring compressor to get it off, but idk much more than that

you need a spring compressor to compress the spring and the clip should come rights off. If you do a search there is someone that made one that looks like it would work pretty good, but you will need and extra set of hands to do it safely.
