how to remove carb float/unclog fuel inlet?

ok i think ive got the problem figured out. there is a clog in the fuel inlet on the carb. i sprayed carb cleaner directly into it, and it just splashed back out at me.

i tried a tooth pick, but that didnt work...what else can i do?

try soaking it overnight

take the floats off and pull the inlet out and blow through the inlet with a compresor or get a can of compressed air

Id try to avoid toothpicks as they seem to break eaisly.

i pulled the float off, and that little valve thats under it, and sprayed the fuel intake with carb cleaner, and it came out down the bottom were the float bowl would be.

i put it all back together, and it doesnt work. could that valve type thing be clogged or what?

that valve could be clogged. Make sure you don't bend the part of the float that operates the valve unless you mean to bend it.

Only way is to blow it out. Unless you buy it.
