how to keep my stickers on?

so i got some of the free stickers from some of the dealers in the the free sicker thread and i didnt go to school today so i did this to my tank..... i was wondering ow i can keep them from pealing of.

Spray over them with claer coat. Get a non yellowing clear and do a bunch of coats over a few hours. Make sure you do very very light coats as it will rum easily on the stickers. I did my tank myself and they dont come off.

had the same prob with the same free stickers. although i put mine on my gas can and some of them have started peeling off already

you have to prep the plastic first..

CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!! I have never had to put a clear coat on anything to keep stickers sticking...Prep the area where the sticker is going to go very well...Same when you paint the plastics, prep prep prep and the paint will look good and stay sturdy and not chip off. Ask 3_0_5...He knows.

but more then likely hes right :-D my can was a little dirty. its a gas can all it holds is Trail Mix =)) how clean should it be?
