How To Identify Bent Frame or A-Arm?

I already had planned on flushing the crank case and re-filling it, so I'll just replace the gasket at the same time.

Thanks for the help everyone!

Just a correction on terminology, but one does not fill the crankcase with oil.

A two stroke's crankcase is separate from the transmission and the lubrication comes from oil carried in suspension.

One drains, flushes and re- fills the gearbox with 650ml of oil suitable for wet clutches.

With a bent frame, a skid plate won't fit. I was suggesting one if you decide to get a different frame in the future.

Keep an eye out on Craig's list for a frame. I just grabbed a 01 perfectly straight frame for $40. They are cheap enough to replace.

Unfortunately around my area there are almost no blasters at all, let alone blaster parts.

So the part I need is part #2 crankcase seal?

no, #2 is the flywheel cover gasket, there is no oil on that side.
you need #7 to replace the clutch cover gasket.
if this is refering to your above post about flushing/changing tranny oil ?

Oh okay, thanks!

Any special instructions for the installation or just remove the old gasket, put the new one on, put the cover back on and fill it up?
