How To Change The oil if oil plug is stripped

im not retarted but im having trouble taking off the bolt because it is stripped
help anyone????

first make sure you are turning it the right way. second if its stripped you are going to have hell of a time. when mine stripped i got an old junk 7/16" socket, pounded it on with a hammer, then tack welded the bolt to the socket. then it come right off. pain in the ass, and you waste a socket but it got the job done.

um i forget i have an aftermarket plug now, and its not the same size bolt head as stock.

my buddies dad got mine off with a chisel and a hammer??? i dont have a clue how he did it but he did lol.

put a set of vice grips on it and try that.

Take a 1/2" nut and drill it out so it fits over the drain plug. Weld the nut to the plug, let it cool for a couple of minutes then us that to unscrew the plug.

Do it correctly and just leave the nut on there and you'll never have problems getting it off again.

u can take the clutch cover off also i used a set these sockets for stripped bolts that i got from sears

you can just take the clutch cover off???? wount that make a mess???

just take the bottom bolts out first then lossen the top bolts and it should start leaking out just put a oil pan under it

It is suppose to be 12mm mine stripped out to.I just pounded a smaller socked on it and took the impact gun to it.
