How much would you pay?

This is just to give me an idea of what i should charge for my blaster. I will post some pics and tell me what you think is a fair price. It is not complete. It needs a couple things here or there. It needs to be gone through, but it does run and idle. Everything i post will be for sale

I thought i was going to keep it but i think i will try and sell it or trade for a atv for my wife

The drag frame will have to be someone special who wants that. It could be worth a bunch of money depending on what's done to the engine but a small pool of people might be interested (which means it's not as valuable to anyone else)

The other engine and frame is incomplete and who knows what's missing or damaged. I mean, the other frame could probably be put back together fairly cheap but without looking at all the parts in person, it's hard to judge what's good and what's not.

I would probably give you $300 for the other frame and parts. The drag quad might be worth $1500 depending on how it runs.

Havent went through the engine, but im sure by the look of it theres been work done. V force reeds, 6-8 in ex swinger, twist throttle, k&n air filter, dg header. Kumho front tires, Pro wedge 2 back. I wish i knew more about the engine but unfortunitly i know nothing. It does have a seat thats on it way.

The shaved frame and 4 snows tells me someone built a REALLY powerful machine to need those parts (and dump that kind of money into it) but the DG header and stock silencer tells me that it's not the same beast it may have once been.

A DG blaster expansion chamber is basically a stock configuration without baffle plates. Better than stock but at the bottom of the barrel as far as power output is concerned.

It looks like someone took a full blown drag bike and tried to put a regular engine in it.

The other frame doesn't look too bad but it needs a bunch of parts too. I don't see any shift forks in the parts pile and the fact that the clutch cover (and all the parts under it) are taken off the other bottom end leads me to believe there is something wrong with it too. There are a bunch of good parts there but it would take some time and work to get them all back together and into a running bike.

You might be able to pull the engine off the drag frame and put it on the other frame (and put the other frame back together) to have a decent ride for your wife and then sell the parts and drag frame.

i would say a grand for it all. maybe. the drag blaster needs work. the front shocks look like sh*t, the a-arms design is actually nice. no idea about engine (assume stock because it looks like crap) so ya.

About a grand here, too, for the drag blaster. It all depends on who wants to buy it and how much engine work has really been done to it. No way of really knowing until you get inside it and start looking. I'd give maybe $ 250.00 for the basket case, just because of all the work it needs and possible missing parts I'd be dealing with.

I think i would sell everything for 700 if anybody is intrested in my area. I have only drove it once and it has a sputter. But it will clear up here and there and it really feels like it has some power.

Probably a problem in the fuel system. It has a keihin pj carb. I cleaned it pretty good but still something wrong

maybe needs new fuel, jetting change, timing check, the normal stuff.

That's a shame... I could use the spare frame and parts but I truly don't have a use for the dragger.

I didnt think to check the reed valve. It has the original vforce reeds, so probably pretty old

you have to be a supporting member or be here at least 3 months and have 300+ post to access that part of the forum. helps filter out the scammers.

How much do you have to donate to become a supporting member? Im not a scammer. I only want to do a deal face to face. I would to like to sell to someone who knows what there getting. I have been telling people that it needs someone who has mechanic know how and wants to biuld a drag bike. Most people around here get turned off if they cant take off on it and ride it like it was new even if it is only 700 dollars
