How Much should the Push Rod be adjusted

Well clutch isn't engaging and i think its the push rod because i adjusted it with no space at all and sent it straight to the back until it stopped and tightened it lined everything up and bolted it on... Tell me if i did that totally wrong and i have to go back and adjust it

There is a mark on the motor under the carb that you line the clutch arm up with by adjusting the rod. Take the clutch cable off before you adjust it.

ok will do as well as that can you post a pic of it because my clutch was working fine once i warmed it up before the rebuild
