Does anyone know how long z400,400ex,trx450r,yfz450,ltr450,kfx450, and a 250r shock are? Causeim thinking the closest to the stock shock size would fit better and I'm just curious to know how long the shocks are.

most of those are 1/4 - 1/2 longer than stock and will give you only a slightly higher ride height, (measured at the rear grab bar)
i know this for fact about the 400ex and 450r. i've had both.
i believe the suzuki's are about the same, not sure about the kawi's ?
the yfz is quite a bit longer and most cut like an inch off the bottom mount, right above the existing hole and drill a new hole up as high as possible, and it will still adds a few inches to the ride height.
the trx250r shock is much longer and added about 6 inches to the ride height on a +4 swinger on my black bike, i moved the mount to make it sit about 2 inches higher, but it is a very good shock

i'm thinking they are the same, maybe message someone on ebay and ask them to measure it for you, i've done it before and most will reply with an eye to eye measurement
