I want to srew the old head studs out but can not it to unscrew, any advise how?

I usually just get Vise grips and unscrew them. But if they hard to get out, take a propane torch and heat the area around the stud, it will expand it and usually easily come out. I've done that many times to other things than blaster stuff lol

IIRC, someone makes a stud installer/remover

You put two nuts on the stud. Unscrew the bottom nut with the box end of a wrench while hold the top nut with another wrench. You will be putting the torque on the bottom nut to thread the stud out. The top nut is just used as a stop .

Stud remover/installer works best. But if need be you can always double nut it and try and back them off.I dont reccomend vise grips on them at all.

put two nuts on the stud and tighten them togherer good and tight then loosen by the bottom nut. the stud should come right out. the tighter you put the nuts togeter the better it will hold

You can buy a stud removing tool.

If you put a nut on the stud upside down, all the way down, and then put another nut on top of it.

Tighten the 2 nuts together reasonably tight, then revolve the stud by using the lower nut.

If ur removing old studs for new ones, vise grips work well. Just NEVER reuse the old studs removed with them lol. I didnt know if he was replacing them or not. Never specified. If u dont have extra nuts or the remover/installer, vise grips are next option. Done it MANY times successfully.
