i have a stock blaster with 18" tires and a 14 tooth front sprocket. he has a warrior with a white brothers exhaust, added 1 tooth to his front sprocket, he bored it out , and its jetted. is there any aftermarket stuff i could buy to beat his.

The easiest route to power (without going into the engine and doing LOTSA work) is a decent pipe, take the airbox lid off, and rejet the carburetor. That might get you back close to him.

toomey racing exhaust is proven to be the best exhaust for stock blaster engines. also bore your blaster out or get a big bore kit then you should beat him also get ether a uni air filter or k&n airfilter.

Toomey B1 is a good pipe but not the only choice for a mildly tuned blaster. FMF, pro circuit, DMC, or even a DG. Any of those are performance upgrades over the stock pipe.

yeah but i wouldnt buy dg but thats just me techinecly they are just a chrome stock pipe but yes there are other pipes to

I said EVEN a DG. LOL They're an upgrade over stock because they have no baffles but they don't offer as much performance as some of the other pipes do. Then again, the other pipes don't offer as much performance as some other choices IF you're willing to do the rest of the modifications needed to support those other pipes.

lol, it shouldn't take a whole lot to beat him. trust me. i have experience...

haha dg and fmf are good pipes if your are on a budget you can get a good deal on some brands of pipes. i just bought a dmc alien pipe for 70 dollars off this forum in the for sale section. but yeah a aftermarket exhaust is the first mod then go bore your engine or get it ported and redisgn your head. take it to ken o connor for engine mods. he is very much respected on this fourm andhe redisgnes head and other engine mods thats where i would go.

Good suggestions except for boring the engine. Boring will not add any power. Its only to clean up any damage from blowing a piston. If you want more displacement, get a BBK.

thanks and yes i bored my 03 blaster and i have to say there isnt much power added but there is a little i said LITTLE more aceleration not much though

Just a exhaust and open up the airbox on a stock engine will make it a night and day difference , just make sure you jet up to compensate or it will go boom!!!!

has anybody ever cut open a stock blaster pipe? they cut open a banshee pipe on bhq and found it full of peferated steel and stuff like silencer packing

yo yo fellaz fellaz... i HAD a warrior with a aftermarket straight pipe, uni filter and jetted. i had my boy ride it to race against my blaster and SMOKED it. I had it for a less than a month and traded it off for some 20" inch rims. warriors are fat old atvs. their heavy and slow.

you only think that because the motor needed freshened up ;)

a pipe new air filter and taking the lid off should do it I:I

Buddy of mine has a Warrior. I have a blaster that at the time had a PWK 28mm carb, FMF exhaust, mild porting, wiesco piston, 14 tooth front, 23 inch rears, 40 tooth rear, and we were really close and I was bogging a little bit cause of the 23 inch rears and the 14t front sprocket. Ive since dropped to a 20 inch banshee rear with banshee hubs and the difference in acceleration is pretty major. Fairly certain Id take him.

So yeah, exhaust, airbox lid off, and a rejet should put you in a realm where you SHOULD be able to either keep right up with him, or slowly pull.
