mine fits snugly at both ends after grinding about 1/4 inch off each side of the top an the bottom was a perfect fit

crap ill make do for awhile i only paid 11dollars for it but it needs a new top mount seal [i dont know the technical term] and that little rubber stoper for when the shock bottoms out. huh mine has griding already on it like it was made to fit the blaster already except for that bottom pin
So the 250r shock is NOT a bolt on mod to the blaster? Or are you grinding the bottom pin and not the shock??
i had to grind on the shock to get the top to fit in between the mounts its not hard unless you try an use a dremmel an that takes a long time i would suggest a bigger grinder
Thats all you had to do is grind on the top of the shock and it bolted right on with the stock bolts and what not from your stock shock??
Also did you use the atc or quad shock?? And do you know off hand what year your shock came off of??
found out what was up with my shock the bottom hole is oblong and the top was already grinded to fit in the blasters. got it in and she is a great shock recomend deffinetly
