i have two motors one of them is just like in the haynes manual, the other is just like it too with the exception of a threaded hole on the left side close to where the sprocket shaft comes out. on my normal motor there is a place where it looks like it could go but no hole, the one with the hole goes into the transmission area and has treads on the inside of it. i bought it already took apart and would like to know if any one knows what it was used for i will probably just put a bolt in it and forget about it.

the first one is of the hole in question hope its nothing important already put it together. the second one is a close up. the third is the engine that originally came in my blaster it does not have the hole with threads in it although it does have a spot to put it. the second engine i bought was in almost in pieces, bad crank, chipped up case around the stator. the original engine i had to work with was bad crank, hole in the bottom of crank case you could touch the crank shaft through hole and hole in between the crank and balancer, and tore up transmission. trying to get this one halfway deacent. does any body know if yamabond 5 will work for sealling the cases because i used it and i dont want to split the cases again if i have to. i can but i dont want to. more work.
