the best would be 1 size larger than whats in there now if you need to rebore because of wear or damage. boring larger than that would not be a good idea because the power gain is minimal. if you want more power get it ported, modify the head or better intake exhaust setup. boring it more than what you need will only shorten the life of your motor in the long run.
.090 over but that wouldnt do anything for power its just a clean up of the damage the last pistion did you only wana go bigger when you have to the only thing that adds powert is a big bore kit
As a side note, the size/bore of the piston has nothing to do with what kind of gas you run. That's based almost entirely on what compression you are running from milling the head, long rods/stroker engines.
