High Idle problems.

Start swapping different parts from the good carb with the bad carb, then when you finally find what's causing it replace the bad part with an OEM Yamaha one.

Star the quad het it to idle and spray around the carb qith carb and choke cleaner. If idle goes up at all in any particular spot when sprayed you have some kind of leak in that area. Sounds like a gasket or a tiny crack in the carb.
