A couple of weeks ago I bought a 2000 Blaster and am here to learn about it and how to work on it... My first quad!I:I

About the Quad... All I know about it, is that it's fun! It's got some kind of 240 kit in it, it's got a full FMF exhaust system, DG Front bumper and nerf bars, 3" Wheel spacers, Holeshot tires, Chopped off front fenders, The oil injection kit is removed, oh yeah and it's got Pro-Taper handlebars...:-D
Last week it died on me and after bruising my foot trying to get it started for 8 hours straight, I rebuilt the carb a good 50 times before surrendering it to the local shop. They put new reeds in in and took my aftermarket needle out for who knows why... They then told me that I need to have the engine rebuilt for $600.00, really soon. So now the engine is really clanky and stuttering, barely runs... I'm ready to tear into this thing.:(

So I'm off to brows the forums and learn some stuff, thanks for being here guys! It's nice to meet you all!I:I

Welcome man, Best thing to tell you is dont get the shop to rebuild you top end you can do it your self for about 200 , all your doing is sliding a new piston into a cylinder really.
