hey everyone im new to the site and i know that there is a section for introductions but ah oh well i was wondering if anyone could tell me the year of my blaster by the vin off of the engine it is 3jm-280067 .....i just bought it from some guy he sold it to me for 100.00 it has a full fmf exhaust and pro series reeds ....when i got it the chain was broke and hanging off of it ...the casing that the shifter shaft comes out of on the left side is broke so im working on that..jb weld doesn't seem to hold well ..does anyone have a bottom end or the middle left side casing i could buy..... thanks all

i think u may have a 2000....... looks like it. even if its an older blaster u got it for dirt cheap!

u can get on yamaha .com and type in the vin number and it will tell u or you can call a dealer a i dont know why someone would think its a 2000
