Name is Mick spelled like Mic I live in virginia (hanover county) I have a 1997 yamaha blaster with many mods I have striped this thing down to bare medal. I have been building on it since a little before december 2012 its my first to call my own but for the main part before I get in to all my mods rides or styles I just wanted to introduce my self hope to put up good threads of my quad I took pictures of my rebuildI:I
 
This is it lil muddy in the pic from riding but I will start a new thread with much more photos and talk about what all is done to it and whats still in the mix of needing to be put on done or ordered

Welcome, and we love pics:) plenty of great info on here n quite a few great guys (and gals) on here to help and assist with just about everything.. even contests with prizes..IMO, best forum out there.
 
Welcome Mick. Im Donnie, the guy you bought the parts from a few days ago. Lots of good info here, pretty much anything you need to know about these bikes.
 
Hey thanx everyone, donnie thanx for the parts everything doing good unless u have a leak down kit already asembled I could use for my freinds quad its reving high and carbs clean and screws are adjusted right (throtle and air) guessing reeds but not sure want to do the leak down just to get the easy stuff out the way
 
Just got done fabing up a pull bar / stand bar going to see about extending the rear plastics to match with the extension of the swingarm nit sure if I really like the look
 
I have a leak tester but its made to fit the bigger intake on my drag bike. you can make one pretty cheap from parts from home depot or lowes. i think someone here was making them and selling them also pretty cheap.
