i got it at my local yamaha shop.the maintenance book is called clymer. it was like $30. small price for alot of knowledge!!!!

You can get picture diagrams and parts listings for any year or model at Yamahas website.
My Yamaha Prompt - Parts Catalog
Then select "ATV parts" in step 1 and then Year and Model.

i was gonna recommend the same thing...that parts catalog is my savior...i wouldnt live without it, i also use the waverunner and outboard motor parts catalog for stuff that i work on for our customers...but i mainly use it for older stuff cause, who am i kidding, yamaha motors dont need worked on lol
the ignition system picture is extremely useful if you need to get a new wiring harness or something
Yes, it helps solve many problems, specs and diagrams help you understand how it works, so you can fix it! Yippie!!! LOL
