help!!!!

Ok got my 240 running good and was riding it then all a sudden....the engine lost power and died so I took it home and got a new plug in it then I fired it up and it will sit and idle but as soon as I hit the gas it bogs the motor and kills it. could this b an air leak I've had the carb off three times since then with same problem please help

Check to see if your fuel line is plugged. Also check to see if the filter on the fuel weiner "inside the tank" is plugged.

How.do I check it if it's in the tank

Drain the tank...remove the tank....Flip the tank over... remove the two screws that hold on the fuel weiner assembly... inspect.

Ok thanks any other ideas on the subject r welcome..... but the carb was full every time I took it off could this still b a cloged gas line could it really b that simple

Check your needle and seat in the carb and set your float level properly

while you have the carb off, check your reeds in thru the intake with a flashlight, should be all 4 reed petals sitting flat, completely closing off the openings, and not missing/cracked/chipped

I was thinking I possibly had a reed valve stuck open

Ok I'm just gonna ask how many different prob can make this happen or is it only certain things that will cause this

Do you have tors or parking break still installed?

Tours box is still on no parking brake like I said I was ridding everything was all good then all a sudden it just craped out but it will sit ad idle
