I was riding today, top end was freshly rebuilt, about 4 hours on it. I was not beating on the quad at all I was just putting around in the snow and all of a sudden my bike stalled out. I went to kick it back over and the kickstarter grinded but went down. I didnt do it again cause i didnt wantto mess anything else up.

WHAT COULD THIS BE? I just bought this thing last night and now im already screwed!! please help!!

im thinking its bottom end, im hoping its only bearings, or even the crank, but is that what it sounds like?

Thanks guys

Drain the oil and see if there is metal "glitter" in it. If there is you will probably need to take the right side cover off and look for the problem. If not check your plug, if you were just putting around you could have easily loaded up the crank case and fouled the plug. If so change the plug and try it again. Its hard to determine what is grinding without hearing it in person. Grinding could be a bearing though.
