I just removed the tors and added the motion pro idle screw and throttle cable on my 2006 blaster. Gas runs out the bowl but don't seem to be getting to the motor. Thanks for any help

I took the contraption on the top of the carb off and replaced it with a newMotion pro throttle cable and drilled and tapped for the idle screw.

if you disconnected the wire on the top of carb, then disconnect the parking break wire to,and disconnect the switch in the thumb throttle assembly. You need to twist the thumb throttle wire toghther, and the wire on top of carb, splice them then twist, just leave the parking break one disconnected it will be fine.

airscrew should be set at 1.5 turns out from fully seated, then adjust idle,if your parking break is on then it wont rev,soo either make sure it is off or disconnect wire under the headlight nose assembly:)
the pic shows the wire but you need to disconnect it at both ends, not just the handlebars :)

All that was done and it ran fine and then I removed the contraption and put the idle screw and throttle
Cable on and it won't start

is carb slide in there correct? did you align it with pin inside carb? take carb boot off and look at slide does it go up n down all the way
You may have a issue somewheres else:)other then your carb

if it ran fine know you drilled and tapped it then i dont know what to tell you
the carb slide is in correct and all lined up. It won't run since we put the cable and screw in.

oh i see you got a pic up :)
only thing i can guess is as follows.
dirty pilot jet
incorrect float height
dirty airfilter
bad plug
stale gas
broken or chipped reeds
air fuel ratio incorrect
Have you ever done a leak test or compression test

if my blaster would not idle first thing i would do is clean my carb and soak the jets in carb cleaner
if my air screw and idle were set correctly

Main jet washer and slosh baffle in? Double check cleanlyness, might be shaving from screw install. Check that float moves properly and level is correct. Does it fire at all?

Did you file the area flat that you had to tap to put the idle screw in? If not flat, the idle screw may not be hitting the slide to set idle higher. Although it would run, just would have to blip the throttle to keep it running.
