So i just rebuilt the top end on my 99 blaster. It hadn't ran in years and it was just sitting around the garage. So i did the rebuild and cleaned the carb out. For some reason I am getting gas/oil mixture i believe spitting out the air intake side of the carb. Any ideas why this maybe happening? I was thinking maybe my reeds aren't opening all the way or something. Maybe I'm running way to rich but I have no clue what the cause is. Anyone???

Check your pipe,may be clogged?

Ill pull the reeds out right now and let you know if they are broke, but I'm pretty sure they were just replaced like a year ago. I used to have aftermarket reeds but the dealer for some reason took them out and put oem ones back in...i was a little fired from that

So it my reeds were installed the wrong way, not by me but by a dealer, so i fixed them and put them on right. I didnt say i was expecting the dealer to put after market parts in, what i said was they took them out so before you don't want to sound like a dick read the post.... Anyway it still sends like a find mist out the air intake of the carb so i still dont understand what the problem is.

LOL thats what i want to know to... they werent sitting right on the housing right... i dont know its hard to explain but who ever did it wasnt all there obviously

As a matter a fact it isn't, the carb stopped spitting out the back but now when im riding it and get into higher rpm's it basically bogs out on me i cant explain it and i dont know what the hell is wrong with it.... it is pissing me off so bad that i went out and got a yz 125 today LOL I:I

thats not going to solve the problem.. lol

No its not going to solve the problem... And yes i do have the air box cover on i was going to start with one thing at a time today. like take off the air filter and try that maybe check the spark plug gap even though i dont know if that would cause this problem. Im also going to check fuel level in the bowl while its off and running. any other suggestions?

Ok so i had it running great by adjusting the pilot air screw and i went for a ride. I was out for maybe an hour ripping around and then it starting bogging out really bad again. i barely made it back home it was bogging so bad. i dont get what the problem is now. I was thinking maybe the autolube system is not working right so i dumped all my oil and cleared all the lines and still nothing. suggestions?X(
