i recently purchased a banshee front brake setup for my 2001. along with the banshee spindles...ive done some searching and i now want to purchase the burgard a arms bc ive read they would bolt right up to the banshee spindles with no modifcation or reaming, but now i just did some more reading before i purchased the arms and it seems like even with the banshee spindles they need to be reamed anyway? i was trying to purchase a set of arms that just bolt right up, but after just searching again i believe that no matter which way i go, something will need modifcation.

so really

will the burgard bolt onto banshee spindles with no mod
will anything else bolt onto banshee spindles with no mod
what works "best" with the shee spindles

Leagers will work, but you'll need the banshee ends on the top of the a-arm.
The burgards might work also if you can replace the ends with the right tapers.
My boy's quad has a setup like your trying to do and it's really just a comprimise.
Even with Leagers and the correct ends to fit stock banshee spindles you really can't get the front end adjusted out completely. The top of the tires will lean in just a little to much, but you can live with it.
His quad came with the burgards and the reamed spindles and I really did not like the setup very much. I swithed to the leagers with a unreamed set of banshee spindles and bought the new banshee upper tapered ends and as I said it's workable but not ideal.
I have since gotten some blaster disc break spindles, but haven't put them on yet.
I'd look around a little more you might find something that will work better in the same price range as the burgards but fit better.

I don't see the big deal. The reason is the burgards come with 16mm ball joints not the cheesy 12mm ball joints.I run the burgard a-arms with reamed shee spindles and it is great in my opinion.I have full adjustability in the front and has held up extremely well. All you need to do is send those spindles to burgard.Burgard states on their website that the "spindles need to remed to use them, and that they will reem them for free when you buy from them". Just send them out and get them reemed by burgard. You will be very happy in the end especially with a hevy duty 16mm ball joint.I think burgard makes a great product, just there customer service lacks a bit.I don't know why newnick didn't like his burgard arms, shee spindle setup but it is very ideal for me.

The blaster disc break spindles you have will not work either with those a-arms cause of the top pinch bolt style. Are you planning on getting new a-arms.There is alot of different variables and setups to work on these blasters.

They'll work because I also have the blaster style top ball joints to fit the Leagers.
I agree that Burgards will work with the banshee spindles, if your happy with it then thats great. I was not satisfied so I tried something different.
I also agree there are other setups that work and should be looked at also.

i bought them and the setup sounds perfect for what i want....when you say adjustable...whats that mean? like move the ball joint in or out by just turning it in to the arm more or less?

If you call an order a set of Blaster arm just tell them you want banshee ball joints in them. I'm sure someone would do those for you.

OK awesome...i bought a set from burgard and i have the stock warrior spindles that will be here tomarrow and just wanted to make sure 100% they were right. im gonna send them right back out to burgard to ream, then when i get them back i think im gonna get them zinc'ed along with all my nuts and bolts...shee hydros got here today....its gonna be nice when i finally can get everything together

well everybody answered your questions, good luck with the build. reaming spindles isnt a big deal. hope that works out for you..
