this Is my first one. It has purple rear fenders. black tank and gray front fenders. the engine number is 8jm-183157. i looked at the frame in front of the peg. I could not find the vin. I need to order rear carrier bearings and a chain and sprocket set. I hope I can get some help. The bike has dg header and muffler. thanks for any help.

look on the frame for the vin, and if you find it use this website http://www.motoverse.com/tools/vin/yamaha.asp
i wire wheeled the area between the shifter side peg and front a arm. I found nothing. the frame only had one coat of silver paint on it. I found no grinder marks or filler
maybe he overlooked the vin number? I posted it in case he does find it and has something to rely on
ya well, I did follow the link.................... it only works IF you HAVE a vin. as i stated i am unable to locate the number I was digging for info on the motor numbers. simple question. right? this aint my first forum rodeo

ok I found the numbers. I was looking for a stamped number but this looks like it was lazer etched style// anyway its looks like its a 1995 model thanks for the help

ebay will have some, and any year will work, I think. I know anything from 88-02 will. 03-06 might be slightly different.
Good that you found the VIN. Any year carrier bearings will fit. The only things they ever changed on Blasters were the headlight/hood configuration, the brakes from cable to hydro, and the wiring harness/stator.
