What is the trick for removing the Tranny, counter balance, and push lever bearings that are stuck in the case. I don't want to pry with a screw driver if there is a proper way. The crank bearings are already out. Of course replacing all seals too.

Thanks-Bob

You can try heating up the cases to expand the cases to pop them out. You could try using a socket the size of the bearing ring with a extention and try to tap them out.

You can't tap them out there is no access it solid behind the bearings. Not sure if heat is a good idea. But thanks for a reply.

The reason I mentioned heating them up was I have seen guy heat up the cases before they pu the bearings in then through it in the freezer after the bearings where in.

I have had mixed luck with throwing the case in the oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes and taking the case out and smacking it squarely on a few 2x4's set up , but the blind bearing puller is best for the small primary shaft needle bearing in the left case as it really doesn't have any wieght to it.

I always use the oven for installing bearings...bearings in the freezer and cases in the oven, just pull everything out, lube the bearings and slip em in alot of time they just fall in.
