Does anyone know what the stock needle jet/ main nozzle size is on Blaster carb?
Also I'm getting a KOR ported motor, should I get a Dynoport jet kit? I have a Graydon pipe and silencer.

im not sure on nozzle size. as far as i know, nobody takes them out?
the needle can be changed. main jet and pilot obviously as well

no on the jet kit

Only reason I ask this is the guy I bought this from blew it up twice, so I want to make sure that everything is done right. What are your thoughts on the jet kits?

Jet kits often come with the wrong sized jets.

with porting and that pipe, im guessing you will be a 300-330 main jet.
also dynojets are not mikuni jets. there is no way to know if a 300 is truly the same as a mikuni 300 jet

you can order jets from carb parts warehouse, ebay or rocky mountain individually.

if you list every mod you have, we can help you find a jet range.

include
pipe - graydon
ported by ken
what air filter-
stock airbox? if yes, lid on or off?
stock carb? might pay to measure it or post a pic so we know if it is from a blaster
fuel pre-mix or stock injection (either works fine)

I know what you mean about Mikuni jets. I have a bunch of them but there all too large, I use them for my snowmobile. Anyway the story with this blaster is, the guy blew it up twice, it had a main jet in it marked 320HD, not sure about that. Build is
Graydon pipe
Aggressive trail port
Right now it has stock air box with K&N filter, I might get rid of box
Stock carb, might bore if Ken says too
Oil injection

It would be more beneficial to buy a 32-35 carb
if you do upgrade carbs, it is best to buy a CFM airbox. which are spendy but worth having

and dont think only the jets in the carb made your blaster blow up twice. i would do a lot more reading on air leaks and plug chops
