so I have a blaster was sitting for about 2 year, I just took it out cleaned the carburator and could not get it to started with the choke on but as soon as I put the choke in and gave it no gas it sort of idled, as soon as I try to give it gas in wants to die. I turned the screw on top of the carb all the way to the right and the smaller screw on the side of the carb out 2-1/2 turns insted of 1-1/2 and that seems to help stay on but again as soon as I give it gas it wants to quit some please help!

after settin that long u need to do a leak test, check all the obvious things like air filter, fresh gas, new plug, clean the carb, change trans fluid then go from there...are u still using tors system? jus make sure u do a leak test! keep us posted.

I've cleaned the carb, new gas, clean filter, new plug. I have not changed the trans fluid.
I'm not sure what the tors system is and how do I do a leak test?

the tors is the unit on top of the carb...aka throttle over ride system...it cuts off power if the throttle sticks....you should just unhook it and throw it in the trash

more than likely the carb has a real nice jelly built up inside of it....u have to completely disassemble the carb and remove all the jets to make sure its all cleaned out
