hey guys i just joined the forum but i need your help im in the market for a blaster and just went and test rode one it had 100psi of compression which should last me till winter but what im worried about was i couldn't find nuetral i started the bike and shifted into 1st and went to go into 2nd and it didn't shift tried again and it went in took her down the road and 2-3-4-5-6 was all fine no problems and i have to say i was suprised how fast the little thing was i pulled back into his yard and pulled in the clutch went down to first pulled up into what i thought was N let out the clutch and she stalled i went into 2nd so i pulled the clutch back in and tried to get N again but no luck i tried for five min. and my dad couldn't either so i asked the guy what was up and he said i dont know im not a mechanic but it is usually hard to get into N so my question for all of you is is this a huge problem or one that could be easily fixed he is asking 700 for the quad but it needs the new top end and other things fixed as well so i was planning on offering him 400 for the bike as he wants it gone this week. over at everything two stroke they told me a bunch of different things from its fine it just sat too long to it needs a new clutch if you guys could help me that would be great i need a new quad asap and dont know apples form oranges when it comes to blasters

hahaha it probally has no tranny oil in it, i stall mine out occasionally thinking its in neutral when its not. if you could get it for under 500 id do it.

is that all you think it is the guy has owned it for over two years and hasn't done a top end rebuild he said it rode it very little so i am hoping for the best i was gonna offer him 400 cash for it

so you dont think its is anything serious maybe just a fluid change clutch adjust and should be good to go?

I usually put mine in first and then lightly bring the shifter up, almost half shifting, if that makes any sense otherwise it'll go into 2nd. It doesn't sound like theres anything unusual going on. Its definately ready for a top end if the comp is only at 100 psi. It should be around 125-130 and anything under 90 and it'll probably be hard to start.

its not so much that i dont know where or how to get into nuetral but more of a physically wont go into nuetral the shifter was super stiff and took a lot of pressure to shift and when you did get it to budge it would go straight into second skipping first but it doesnt matter the quad sold tonight so i am still looking if anyone in the pittsburgh area has a blaster for a 600 dolllar budget send me a pm
