Hi guys im new to the forum. im in need of some advice. When i got my blaster the transmission wouldnt shift correctly. i could barely ever get it to go into gear. So i took off the clutch cover and found that the shift star was very loose. I took off the clutch and tightened down the shift star and now it seems to be shifting everytime but the problem is that it just keeps on shifting around like there is no stopping point. Any ideas on what my problem is? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. thanks for your time.

is the shift star all beat up? I'm not sure that would really affect it but it might. does it move ? like can you "ride it" or does it just shift and not move? is the clutch working properly
It doesnt seem all beat up. idk but i havent put it all back together yet, after i tightened down the star i wanted to see if that was the reason that it wasnt shifting right. and it does seem to shift right now... but i can just keep shifting up forever?? like theres no stopping point
hmm i would think there was a stopping point the shift rod has a " u " shape on the clutch side. are the springs still there and it should "loick" onto the shift star.. i beleive thats me looking at mine right now
The shift shaft spring assembly and the star are not lined up correctly. BTW Red locktight that bolt!

Ok thanks for the replies. i took off the shift star and the shaft that it sits on is busted. so i need to replace that.. can anyone tell me what that shaft is called? thanks
