Helmet question: Need reply asap please!

I just ordered a LARGE helmet and im not sure if it will fit. I am 5' 10" 180 average size. Does this sound right?

you have to wrap a tape measure around your head..lol
or a string then measure the string whatever inches you come up with look for that size.. lol

we went to a store that sells helmets and tried them on...foudn our size then ordered them online.

Well, i screwed up and ordered a large without even thinking about it lol. So hopefully it fits, or i'll just exchange it!

Different companies size helmets differently.. A One industries large will differ from a Fox and so on and so forth. Its best to try them on locally, or go through a company that has a sizing chart for your helmet of choice... Sorry Im not much help.

and you want it to fit tight. there should not be any movement at all when you shake your head

I always wear a helmet thats one size bigger then I need because I put my hat on backwards underneath the helmet. Its something I started doing when I was young and just kept doing it because it felt comfortable

when i bought my blaster the guy gave me a helmet and gloves that fit me perfectly, even know the guy was like 6 foot and im about 5'5. he was really skinny.

I got an XL HJC thrust. it fits good but hurts my ears when i pull it off
