Well i guess i should introduce myself, my name is Eric. My G/F and i decided to get a couple of quads back in june/july. She got a blaster that was red, yellow, purple, and black we painted the plastic all black and the frame with a silver hammered metal paint i had, we are going to paint the rims black in the next week or so. i bought a 2001 raptor 660 that i love but i got to admit that it is a lot of fun throwing her little blaster around. My G/F really likes her quad and i think she like working on it as much as she likes rideing it. I've been on the site for a few days now and i really like it so i deff. will be sticking around.I:I

ahahaaa everyone knows im the little imature 13 year old lol so u can think of me like that lol
the 01's have a problem with second gear, something with to do with there only being 3 lobs on the back of the gear, later models went to 4 lobs. a lot of people convert to later model trans, i'm the 3rd owner and the first one did some engine work but i'm not sure about the trans, i'm crossing my fingers though. of corse i didn't know any of this untill after i bought the quad.
i generally get along with everyone so i think it was kinda like calling a fat guy tiny.
I had an 01 Raptor ! No tranny issues... I believe it was only certain vin #s that had that issue... Like they corrected it mid production year or whatever..
