Hello again, i have a couple questions, i did a top end rebuild on my 2002 blaster, didnt touch anything in or with the carb. But she wont turn over when i kick unless i hold her throttle, or i pop start her, but even then she does not run for long as soon as i try to let her idle she dont also when i pop start it and it goes but if i even let go it cuts.out! So please help thanks in advance.

Hang the key on a nail and find a good book to read, cos that Blaster should not be started until the leaks are fixed.

Is This My Air Leak/ Is This Bad? after i did the top end rebuild with gaskets as i stated before she wouldnt start.

Most certainly that's a definite problem, hang the key up like blaaster reccomended. You need to go ahead and get a new clutch side cover and replace that! That's horrible, keep starting it and that blaster won't last much longer! That's why u had to rebuild it last time.

That break is by the stator which water and electrical components aren't a good mix. Probably fix that up with some JB Weld or such, even multiple applications of silicon till you fill the gap.

As to the running problem it could be dirty/maladjusted carb or air leak. Did you heat cycle and retorque the nuts?

What was the cause of the rebuild? Is it a fresh bore or new slug in old hole?

Other than gap by clutch lever are there other holes?

cant even get her started to do the heat cycle, yes i torqued to the nutes to there specs, also cause of the rebuild was a melted piston and very very gouged cylinder jug.. from my step brother riding it in first at full throttle for about half a mile or so.. and should i run some carb cleaner through the gas?
