haha just getting used to how everything works on here, been trying to get my 03 Blaster back to life, i got a bent rod i think. Its got a little knock.

Thanks everyone, im really loving this site!
Its like a real lite knock, you can only hear it when idling. Could it just be the piston and rings needed to be replaced?

is the head torqued to spec if its too loose it can do that mine did before

It was the piston and rings i took it apart today. It had some bad scarring on the piston and some on the cylinder wall. I guess ill have to have it bored out, what should have it bored too?

if its never been bored before than just .010
u dont want to bore it more than u have to it doesnt increase power when it is bored out unless its a 240 big bore kit. It just increases the heat and has less life left on the head
