headlight issue

i dont have a battery on my bike..so i tried to use the charge directly from the stator..but it didnt work. how do you guys have it hooked up without a battery if neone does? if its just a matter of hooking positive to the stator and then grounding it..then it should work, right? if so i guess my light coil is bad and which side is it on cuz theres two in there. nehelp would be awesome. thankss :-/

well for one thing no blaster uses a battery, the entire electrical system is run using a magneto.
pretty much all you have to do is match wires by the color
use this link, its a blaster manual and has a full diagram of what wires go where, plus tons of other info

The manual blasterdude posted should help you out a lot. The headlight wires are under the hood, they come down from the handlebar control switch. They should be yellow green and black wires for the lights.
