hey guys a while ago my procircuit pipe started to rust a little bit by the manifold and up near the expansion chamber so i tok a brillo pad and ran it over the rust a coulpe times and not it rusted and tuned like a dingy color what can i do to keep it from rusting

Get a can of rustoleum clear coat from your local hardware store and spray a coat or 2 on it.

so i should take some steal wool to it then spray a couple coats of clear on to it but wont the clear burn off of it or anything

after i get done pressure washing my bike, i always rub it with a thin layer of oil...i use WD-40....mine hasn't rusted yet. hah

make sure you get some hi temp clear if they make it

clean it with 0000 steel wool, than polish the pipe, most chrome polishes leave a 'film' on the metal that protects them i know mothers chrome polish does, and blue magic does

or 0000 steel wool, than 2-3 coats of high temp clear.. header/ exhaust paint will work fine.. or a500-650 degree engine enamal clear
