With modding the head of the blaster of my grandfathers (was mine), will it improve any low end power? Even just a little would help, everytime I put it in 1st gear, it will put for a sec, then it just dies cause it dont have any low end. I could go and buy a 13T spocket if I wanted to, I just wanted to know. I also can afford to run on 93 octane, but i really dont wanna run race 110 gas. Its $4.92/ gallon here.

why is 110 so cheap and C16 114 oct. is like $78 for 5 gals???

a head mod can improve low end if that is what it is designed to do.
the shape of the dome, squash and squash band deterime the fuel's rate of burn. different rpms need different burn rates.

I am running a 360 main, 3rd clip (from the top), stock pilot, 1.5 turns out, 14/40 gearing, 18in. tires, toomey B1 Pipe, stock carb, Boyesen reeds, 67mm Wiseco piston, vitos clutch, thats everything done to the motor, besides the tires and gearing. Im betting that its the adjustment nut on the clutch itself..

i am going to say it is your pilot jet, a stock pilot when you have modified your air flow both in and out of the engine? go bigger on the pilot
