head milling

if you are going to have it done, send it to a builder he will redo it, like change squish band clearance, rechamber, look at wildcards review, timsyfz has a pic of his head, and yes it helps, you bike is going to run better because of the way it is designed it gets the combustion chamber right before detonation, which makes your bike get the most use out of ur fuel. which in turn is going to make the bike run much better than a stock head, which in turn is poorly designed, not to get off topic but yamaha took a high performing bike and dummed it down to a kids bike. but i also reccomend the port work, will help the motor breathe and react much better. depending on the port job
 
so can i do it without the port work, since i dont have the cash for that right now, or do u recommend me to wait till i have the cash to get it all done at once??
 
you should run 93 octane or whatever your highest at the pump is, otherwise you wull have a problem with detonation. i highly reccomend doing the head, you don't have to do the port work with it, but will save the hassle of waiting for one piece, then sending out the other, my opinion save ur money and get it all done at once bud, better off
 
unless you need the bore, don't do it, im thinking with the whole p/p you can do it for about 200 returned, talk to the builders on here, widlcard flotek and kennedy, they will price it out for you
