Have to do anything else after chaning main jet?

Not really...Once you get the right main jet you may need to adjust the needle clip. If you stil run lean on the bottom you may need to get a bigger pilot jet.

Yes, I would probably go up a size or two on the pilot and set the clip in the middle on the needle, it should run well.The pilot is kinda a pain to get out its way deep down a small passage like an eyeglass screwdriver would work to get it out
Not to hijack, but what size is the stock pilot and what are the next bigger sizes? I asked at the dealership a while back and they had no clue...

The main jet for the stock mikuni carb is #230. The pilot is #32.5. I believe the main comes in increments of 10 and the pilot in increments of 2.5.
So, 230, 240, 250, 260....you get the idea.

I'm good with the main jet. The plug looks good, and I change the main with the temperature. Right now I'm running 250 where as I was running 270 this winter. I've always had this feeling that maybe the pilot could go up one....I don't think it's crucial, but I'd like to try it, but the people at the dealership had no idea...and neither did I, I just wanted one bigger than stock to try it out!! But like they said there at the dealership, how often are you idling or barely on the throttle on a 2stroke anyways??
