shopping around for pistons and stumbled across this is it any good i know i should be using wiseco but im hurtin on money right now

you do get what u pay for. and if u are doing a budgit build i would at least get a forged pistion for your bike nocast pistions..

spend the extra 20 bucks and get the wiseco kit. it is soooo much better and with all the problems you've been having, something with a little more durability would be a good idea

f it i just dropped off the jug to yamaha and ordered a wiseco piston top end gaskets you know the works. it had to be done. pissed my old lady off but she just doesnt understand

Hmmm prob too late for this but.... WSM kits use cast pistons, so yeah ya get what ya pay for, but my local shop (30+ years exp) guy told me he's installed hundreds of them and never had a problem.
