hare scramble/enduro

Well I am hopefully going to do a couple hare scrambles this year. Never raced before but I've been riding quads about 2 years and grew up on bikes.

Anyone here run hare scrambles/enduros?

What do I need to do prior to the race? I need to order some hand guards.

handguards are definitly a must, you might wanna also check and see if you need a tether switch as well.

Contact the sponser of the race/series to make sure you have the right equipment. Probably tether, nerfs, number plates at min.

but I cannot help it, he is usually right!
Either that or old coots just think a-like...

To add something worth while of my own, I will include a picture of my own plastic Acerbis handguards and 3" steering stem extension.
I would suggest heelguards as well, as an even more important personal safety item.

I have nerf bars and raptor 350 heel guards....for this series I do not need number plates. They just have us put stickers with our number on our helmet.

My dad has hand guards on his quad that I might steal for the race but I will be getting my own at some point.

I can't remember if I need a tether or not but I will get one if I need one
